Ours is a household of two blind people, so I don't have sighted help at
my beck and call. I have received the ScanJig. I scanned the document
that purports to explain setting it up. I understand the purpose of
devices like the StandScan and ScanJig, but I am completely puzzled by
the ScanJig when it's under my hands. I have read the documentation
multiple times. Can someone please explain what the loose piece of
plastic is and where it goes? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere on the
part that slides back and forth. And I just discovered the wire thing
underneath the flat plastic piece with all the holes. Obviously, that
changes the angle of the plastic part with all the holes. I am sure I
am missing only a couple more pieces of the puzzle.
