Did you not get my email I sent directly? I outlined what you need to do in iTunes and as long as you didn't turn on Find my iPhone during the setup process you should be able to restore the phone.
The main thing is to use the Tab or F6 keys in iTunes. Once your phone is connected, use Control+F to go to the search box as a reference/starting point. Now tab until you get to "more", then one more tab after that should put you on "iPhone" and you have to activate this button to access your phone. Give it a bit and then use F6 a few times or just tab a lot. I mean a lot, I believe if you only tab it will take about 40 tabs to get to the Restore button, but if your phone is connected and recognized and you are in your device area and not the library area, then tabbing will eventually get you to the Restore button. If you do find it and get a message that Find my iphone needs to be turned off first you are in a bit more trouble. I believe you can turn this off via the www.iCloud.com website, but it is very poorly accessible ynd you would probably need sighted help for that. The other option I think is to force the phone into what is called DFU mode, but maybe somebody who has done this can outline the exact steps. Anyhow, if find my iPhone is not on then you should be able to Restore it without problem and start over. Make sure next time you do know the 4-digit code and I would also recommend you set up Touch Id as it's a snap to unlock your phone with your finger print. You will, however, still need to know the PIN since if you need to reboot yoru phone or if you do an iOS update you will first have to unlock it once with the 4-digit PIN before touch Id works again and also if you ever want to change the PIN or rescan your finger print, you will have to provide the PIN.
