I’ve got a Plantronics M50, Aventree Jogger and Aftershox Bluez2. I use the
Jogger headset for working out on the bike and elyptical and whatnot since I
don’t care if I get those all sweaty, the Bluez2 throughout the day for
business calls so I don’t have my ears covered up all the time and the
Plantronics for when I’m out and about and also at home. The Joggers are bhel
as far as soun, but get the job done. Bluez2 are nice and sound is better, but
I always find myself going to my Plantronics. It’s only for one ear, but the
one main feature I like that I appreciate the most is being able to turn the
device on and off with the flick of a switch. It connects fast and without any
fuss. The other headsets you have to press and hold a button for a few seconds
to turn them on and off. Not the end of the world, but I find the convenience
and speed of the toggle switch on my trusty M50 super convenient. VoiceOver
works fine with the M50 too. This is one feature that is going to be at the top
of my must have list for whenever I decide on a bluetooth headset in the future.

I also have and still use my Plantronics Voyager HD. It has excellent audio on
both ends. The only feature I whish it had was incoming caller ID announcements.

Subject: Request for a recommendation for a bluetooth headset

I’ve been off the list for a while, so I’m sure this has already been discussed
more than once – I apologize for re-raising the issue. I’ve lost my
Plantronicks Voyager Pro HD Bluetooth device. I got it two years ago. Can
anyone recommend a good Bluetooth device that works well with Voiceover?

  John RiehlThanks.
