Hello, As for me, I am a huge fan of the Notes app when it comes to creating and sharing documents between my iOS devices, Macs, and PCs.
I have my Notes Apps set to automatically save to iCloud. Then, when on the PC, I simply open the Notes App, via the iCloud web interface. It is seamless and, therefore, allows me to focus on the content rather than the concept. Both Notes and Word can send documents to yourself that you could then open on your computer. But, in a week or two, the creator of Voice Dream Reader will be releasing a new app for creating documents that I think will be better than both Word and Notes. It is still in beta, so I won’t say anything more about it right now. Would word allow transfer of a document from the pc to the iPhone?
