I suppose that you could do this, but don't guarantee. If the keyboard uses
rechargeable batteries that can be bought, I would get a spare set and a
battery charger. The charger can be used for other batteries, too. Keep a
set fully charged for use when the currently used set goes dead. Then
recharge those dead ones for future use. This is what I do with my Apple
Bluetooth keyboard.

Subject: Using the Apple "plug" to charge a USB keyboard
I have a friend who just purchased a Logitech USB easy switch keyboard.this
keyboard comes with a USB cord and wants you to use your computer to charge
it. However, he says he is often in a position where he does not have access
to his computer. So, he wanted to know has anybody tried to charge this or
another similar keyboard using the plug end of the Apple cable that comes
with phones or iPads?that is they would take the USB cable that came with
the keyboard connected to the part of the Apple thing that plugs into the
wall and connect the other into the USB keyboard to charge it. It seems
possible to me. But what do I know? Any advice?
Mary
