I seem to recall that the Easy-switch, while not needing to be charged every other day, does not stay charged for months, though of course this would vary with usage and according to whether you turned it off when not using it. Also, somebody mentioned changing the battery but the Logitech Easi-switch doesn't look to me like it was really built to have a battery switch done regularly; there's no really obvious battery compartment that I can see. As much as I like that particular keyboard, it does annoy me that it can need charging without giving me much warning and then I have to have a usb port open on my computer to keep going with that keyboard or change to a different one while it's charging. So if using the iPhone plug with the Easi-Switch cable works, carrying it might not be a bad idea.
