Having said about copy and paste, it can be done without the pinch gesture, which is something a whole bunch of us are no good at.
1, flick down on a message to find more, and within that, find Forward. 2, you end up in a newish sms screen asking you for the To: field, the body or text is already filled in. 3, flick past the To: field and double tap the message body instead. 4, now crank round the rotor to Edit, find select all and tap, then flick down some more to find copy and tap that. 5, click home to close that and open Notes, use app switcher to go to it more directly even, and open a new note. 6, crank rotor to Edit again, and flick down to Paste and tap it. Now save it quick while it's there. You can go back and cancel that forward you started later.
