Regina, I assume you're talking about saving email messages as opposed to text messages. I agree that copying and pasting can be difficult but you might try this for saving an email message:
1. Select reply from the bottom menu when you're reading the email message you want to save. 2. The on screen keyboard should then open since your device thinks you want to compose a reply. 3. Do a single finger double tap and hold in the text portion of the screen above the keyboard. 4. A pop up menu will appear and you can select and execute the select all option. 5. Select copy from the same pop up menu. 6. Go to the app such as notes and select new and paste what you copied either by using edit from the rotor or the single finger double tap and hold to open the menu previously mentioned. 7. The same approach can be used to save text messages when you've drilled down to the text you want to save.
