For a 16 gig device, it will say that you only have 12 or so gigs free as
there are all sorts of thins on the device, such as preinstalled apps and
formatting that use space. This is the same with a computer, if you have a
computer that says it is a 1 tb hard drive, you will actually only have
about 931 gigs that are free. I know with my 64 gig iPod, when it was brand
new, I hadn't installed anything on it, it said I only had about 56 gigs
free. You will never get your device to say that it has 16 gigs fre if it is
a 16 gig device.

hi all i have a 16 gig iphone. and it says i am useing 3 gigs of it,

bigets aps that are taking up room is face book. and dice world. i even
cleaned out my games that i have played that are finished on dice world.
and its still taking up allot of space on my phone. and with face book i
can't find a way to clear your notifications. i was wondering if anyone
knows of a way to fix this so that i can free up more space on my phone.

world is useing 158 mb and the app size is 70.8 mb and face book is 132
mb and the app size is 91.7 mb. so if anyone can help me to free up more
space on my phone, that would be great. thank you.
