Hi Mark, While in the camera roll, select the picture you want to send by double tapping on it. When the picture comes up, there will be a button at the lower left of the screen that says share. Double tap it. The next screen will give you a number of choices including the option to mail the picture. Once you choose mail you will be placed in an open message in the mail app.
