I can do all of that with the native Mail app. You can add an “Unread” mailbox to your list of mailboxes by double tapping on the Edit button when you are in the main screen of the mail app. If I am in my Inbox I can double tap on Edit at the top right and then double tap on as many messages as I want to select them. Voiceover correctly speaks whether they are selected or not. I then have 3 options across the bottom of the screen, “Mark”, “Move” or “trash”. I am an Outlook user on the computer, but I haven’t tried Outlook on the iPhone and this is one case where I don’t see much of a reason why I would want to since I think the implementation of the Mail app is very good and it fully supports both Exchange accounts and Exchange Active Sync accounts. I also think some of the new features in the mail app since iOS 8 are quite nice like the ability to minimize a draft in order to look up information in a different email. So far it seems faster than the default app to sort mail. I don't, probably like many here, have time to read every message. With outlook, you can double tap and hold, then slide right to get in to multi selection mode. You can then scrol through your list of mail and double tap the ones you want to select. After this is done, you can batch move or delete them. In my opinion, this is a huge time saver. To only show unread messages, first tap the Filter button, then choose unread. Hope this helps. Brett.
