The strange thing about the Microsoft Outlook app was, you have to read through
the sirvice agreement and I couldn’t find a way to jump to the bottom to find
the I agree button and when I finally got there, I still didn’t see one and so
at that point in time Microsoft and I parted company again. When my HP 64 bit
17.3 inch laptop dies, Microsoft and I will no longer be friends and I’ll stick
to Apple products.

I'm happy with the mail app. I tried the outlook app and I it wouldn't read my
emails properly. I had a look at the outlook app becaus I was curious. I'm
going to stay with the native mail app.

I agree with you 100 percent. I tried the outlook app, and it’s okay for the
most part. But 1 thing that I noticed, when composing an email, when I went to
send, it would remove the persons email who I was sending too. But like
others, I think the native mail app is just fine.

    Hi Brett,

I can do all of that with the native Mail app. You can add an “Unread”
mailbox to your list of mailboxes by double tapping on the Edit button when you
are in the main screen of the mail app.

If I am in my Inbox I can double tap on Edit at the top right and then
double tap on as many messages as I want to select them. Voiceover correctly
speaks whether they are selected or not. I then have 3 options across the
bottom of the screen, “Mark”, “Move” or “trash”.

I am an Outlook user on the computer, but I haven’t tried Outlook on the
iPhone and this is one case where I don’t see much of a reason why I would want
to since I think the implementation of the Mail app is very good and it fully
supports both Exchange accounts and Exchange Active Sync accounts.

I also think some of the new features in the mail app since iOS 8 are quite
nice like the ability to minimize a draft in order to look up information in a
different email.

    Sieghard

Hi, I rather like it. So far it seems faster than the default app to sort
mail.

I don't, probably like many here, have time to read every message. With
outlook, you can double tap and hold, then slide right to get in to multi
selection mode. You can then scrol through your list of mail and double tap the
ones you want to select. After this is done, you can batch move or delete them.
In my opinion, this is a huge time saver.

To only show unread messages, first tap the Filter button, then choose
unread.

    Hope this helps.
    Brett.

I just took a look at it using my work iPhone since we use Exchange.
      1. There is no indication of a message being read or unread, forwarded or
replied to like there is in the native mail app.
      2. The people list seems to only include recent contacts, so only those
people whom you have exchanged Emails with recently, whatever they mean by
recent.
Just based on those two things, I won't be using this app.

        Hi all,

I‘m playing around with the new Outlook app for IOS. Can anyone let me
know if there is a way to import my contacts? When I go into “People” I only
get the very recent contacts. Unless I am doing something wrong, I just hate
having to write in all e-mail addresses.
        Please help
