You can get it in the iBook’s format, easily readable but a lot of photos.  

 

Since you are fairly familiar with iPhone the  guide may get you through most 
everything.  

 

I also used Kindle to read David Pogue’s book on IOS8 which is more detailed 
information but he is the one who said you should never have to empty the app 
switcher, and I have found through experience that at least for Voiceover 
users, that is an untrue statement.  This is based on my own experience with an 
overcrowded app switcher, and is not any scientific experiment but, I have 
found that cleaning mine out, especially if anything is not working right is 
essential.  Your mileage may vary.
