I have a iPhone 5s as well. Here's how to turn on or off vibration when you
get an incoming phone call.
1 Open settings.
2 Open sounds.
3. Here you can select ring on vibrate. Vibrate on silent etc
HTH. Your choices will be on or off.

Yeah my phone vibrates when it starts up. It's a 5s.
