Hi, Here is what the literature says about the directionality of the microphone.
* Microphone head swivels 230 degrees to capture sound from any direction. That is not stereo separation, that is simply that the microphone swivels around on its base to be able to point to the sound you want to record. And you’re right, there is no headphone jack. There is, however, an input jack. Oh well. I guess you can’t have everything. That sounds quite good. I was also looking at the newer microphone from Blue Microphones, the Mikey Digital Lightning microphone. It has a 230 degrees stereo spread but I gather it blocks the earphone jack completely and doesn’t have a pass through jack so it will be useless to a VoiceOver user unless Bluetooth earphones work while it is plugged in. Speaking of Bluetooth headsets, have you tried any Bluetooth headsets with the iQ6? I just discovered that if you plug in the iPhone Air pods and connect a Bluetooth headset, the sound goes to the Bluetooth headset, so I’m thinking that would maybe be an option with these microphones.
