I hesitated to upgrade to 8.1.3 because of this bug. I don't write in multiple languages often, but when I do I appreciate the iOS capability to switch to the braille code for French or Spanish.
I cann't replicate Ann's problem. I'm using a Braille Sense U2 Mini, so perhaps that's the difference, but using contracted braille input and output, when I switch to French, I still write and read French Abrégé, and I can write and read accent marks, at least the one I tried worked as it should have worked.
