I absolutely love voice dream reader for iOS. I never ever thought I could stand to listen to complete fiction novels with a TTS voice. However, I totally can now. I personally love Salli because I don’t notice an excessive amount of that sort of weird auto tune sort of drag at the end of words that some voices do. I truly believe that this is a completely personal taste and preference though. I prefer a softer reader instead of a bold reader. However, it depends on what I am reading though. I do need to choose a male voice for books written in first person by a male character though. :) Voice Dream reader lets you listen to a sample before you make a purchase. I believe, but am not positive that there is a free voice that comes with voice dream reader. You can make sure you don’t love that one before you purchase a voice. There are other voices I quite like but I’m just spreading my purchases out instead of spending a lot of money all at once. :) So, in short. I do think you should give voice dream reader a try. I listened to a podcast from applevis and decided to give it a try after listening to it. I do suggest you listen to that one because I think I would have been lost otherwise because some of the buttons are multi function and the podcast helped me get a lay of the land before I dove in. :)
