Thanks for that brief review, almost sounds good enough to buy an iPad. Are you able to visualize where countries are compared to others with this or get a sense of borders and shapes of countries or does it just say which country you are on and then give some information about it? Would be nice if somebody did a good Podcast about it showing off the various features and what the app can do and what it sounds like. If I owned an iPad I’d buy this in a second. I assume for this having a full-size iPad would be better than an iPad Mini? I can definitely see why this would not be something that works well on the small screen of an iPhone. I had to have my wife rescue me. Also, don’t turn the speech rate up in the settings menu at first. 0.1 is normal speech and 1.0 is about three hundred percent. However, once vo was turned off, the world atlas is speaking every country as my finger moves over it. that gives me more access to information than I have had for 30 years when I could actually see an atlas. The app is already worth 30 dollars to me. And no, none of us want to pay that much until someone says it works as well as they say on the site, and even on Applevis where the link first showed up. So we're all looking for a volunteer with £30 to spare for trying this product. Pity we couldn't all gift a proportion of the cost to a volunteer to try it and report back publically.
