Just a thought, but perhaps it is Bluetooth. I know that if Bluetooth is on but not connected to nother device, then the phone can drain about 1 percent an hour, but when connected and on it drains about 3 percent an hour. At least that was what I heard from someone else on this list some time ago. If it is Bluetooth, touch the status bar and do a 3 finger swipe up, then swipe/flick right to the Bluetooth toggle button and double tap to turn it off.
