All, tomorrow is upgrade day; already made encripted backups using iTunes but have a few questions.
1. I thought I remembered a place where you could select what is backed up and what is not; at some point I selected apps, and was asked if I wanted to back up ones that were not in my iTunes library; I said yes and all was well. My wife was not asked the same question, so I manually chose to transfer purchases, and it seemed to work. So how do we know if photos, contacts, apps, and videos will be backed up? I have 2 videos I definitely do not want to lose, and no iTunes category mentioned videos, only songs. I know in the “other” category, I had more megs of “other” than my wife did so wondered if the “other” consisted of those videos? 2. Is there a way, if any of this stuff was not backed up to iTunes to later get it from iCloud? 3. Should I also do a manual backup to iCloud tonight, and will it do any good at all?
