Hi Kristen all the way that I understand it it doesn't speak all notifications 
in the lock screen anymore in other words it might tell you a message and it 
might tell you who the messages from but it doesn't read the content of what 
that message is that's the difference and that's what Apple has defaulted it 
too because people were so concerned about privacy issues. God bless, Wren
