Hi there.
I recently bought a Logitech Keys-to-go bluetooth keyboard. It's only
a quarter of an inch thick, weighs about 6 ounces, thinner than the
phone itself, and the keys are almost as large as on a regular
keyboard. It is covered in a protective membrane so it's spill/dirt
resistent, and the keys travel a tiny distance, so it's almost silent
to use. I recommend you check it out, but at $70 US, it's not the
cheapest option around. It's primarily designed with iOS in mind, as
the top row of keys is iOS specific and launch particular functions,
control media playback etc. Also, FN+arrow left/right selects words.
I don't have to pair it often, meaning most of the time, I turn it
on and my phone recognizes it, if Bluetooth is turned on in Settings
already of course.
There is no lag I can detect between pressing a key and hearing
Voiceover repeat it, and I'm a guitar player with a lot of
sensitivity when it comes to latency between my hands and my ears. (grin)

Good Evening!
I have been considering buying a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my
iPhone 6. Is there a lot of lag time between when a character is
typed and when it appears on the screen? Also, if you turn the
keyboard off to save power, do you have to re-pair it with the phone
each time the keyboard is turned back on?
I am writing this message using the onscreen keyboard at which I am
much faster at than I used to be, but I would like to be able to
type a lot faster! Though I am a strong advocate of Braille, I
haven't been that impressed with the Braille onscreen input options.
I don't seem to get my fingers placed correctly, and I don't care to
deal with the translation difficulties. Thanks for any help with
this in advance!
