I like RecorderHQ Pro. It will record in several different formats
including mp3 and it offers several choices of storage including Dropbox and
others. They have both a free and paid version. I chose to use my
Plantronics Voyager Legend pro as my mike and ear peace for monitoring. If
I remember right the free version limits the recording time but it should be
more then enough time to let you see if you want to pay for the better
version. You can also select quality levals in the paid version. I don't
remember if the free version does or not. I didn't have the free version
very long.

That's how I record my podcasts too. What's great now is Dropvox can
directly record in MP3 whereas before I had to use some sound editor for PC
or mac, convert the m4a file to MP3 and re-upload.
