For the person who started this thread from India, If you don't mind going through quite a few more steps to scan and save a document, Prizmo is a very good OCR app for $9.99 US. It does as good a job as KNFB reader, it just is more tedious to use. The reason I use KNFB Reader most of the time is the speed of getting a scan and having it start reading in about 2 seconds. That is worth the extra money to me.
