Is iCloud drive different from the 5GB of iCloud storage we used to get for
free?

Subject: Re: Question on updating to IOS 8.3

It's up to you, really. If you never use iCloud to sync data and documents,
you're fine. If, however, you sync between, say, a Mac and your iPad or an iPad
and an iPod Touch, you must enable or disable iCloud Drive on all devices. Put
another way, iCloud Drive is not backwards-compatible with anything else. You
have to use it on all devices, or none of them. If everything you have is on
iOS8 and/or Yosemite (for the Mac) you can enable it on all devices and be just
fine. If not, leave it off.

I know you said you never use iCloud, but iOS is very good at making background
features like data syncing very transparent and unobtrusive, so I wanted to
make sure you weren't actually using iCloud and simply didn't realize it.

I updated my iPad from IOS 7 to IOS 8.3. After updating it asked me if I want
to update to iCloud drive. Do I need to do this or just cancel this this? This
is being asked me after I updated. I don’t store anything in iCloud.
