Thanks much, Alex.

Actually, now I do not have the encrypted backup option any more probably
because I was unable to provide the password when system prompted me to do so a
week ago.

Thanks!

It's stored on your hard drive. I don't recall where, and it differs between
Mac and Windows, but a quick web search will tell you he location. Simply erase
the file if you want to. Thinking more, though, I don't believe you really need
to do that; just make a new backup, the same way you did last time, but enter a
different password. Again, someone with more experience can hopefully clear
things up more.

I'd back up, restore that backup, and then only delete the 5 once you are
totally sure the restore was successful. You can also erase your current
backup, then make a new one with a new password, to get an up-to-date encrypted
backup. The password is, as far as I know, prompted for each time you back up,
so making a new password should work out. I'm no expert, though, so someone
with more experience can jump in here. Remember that all the encrypted backup
gives you is sensitive information--wifi networks saved logins in apps, that
kind of thing. You'll still get your settings, pictures, apps, and the like
with a regular backup, you'll just need to configure some security settings and
log back into your web-based apps (Facebook, Twitter, Instapaper, and the like).

Hi, list.

I’m getting Iphone Six Plus Tomorrow, should I restore 6Plus first or erase
Iphone5 first?

I do not have an encrypted backup, is simple backup ok?

Thanks!
