This Audible update seems much improved in addition to fixing the delete issue. I have noticed that it seems to report much more information about your book position including overall time remaining, which chapter your currently reading of the total number of chapters, how much time has elapsed in the current section, and how much time is remaining in the current section. This information is reported at the top of the book playing screen with repeated swipes to the right. I really like this.
The one thing I did note is that when reviewing my entire library in the cloud, the app seemed to hang and not let me progress pass the first page. I've been an Audible member for years so I know I have many books in my library and it may just take it a minute to load. When I closed out of the app in the App Switcher and went back in, my books were all listed so this might have been a first time through anomaly.
