Glad you figured it out, with iTunes adding media to the library is always the crutial step. Using a flashdrive is of course OK, but of course it does limit you a bit since your music will only be available if your flash drive is connected and if, for some reason, it connects and the PC assigns a different drive letter, iTunes may not see the music on it. With only 1,300 songs you may want to copy them to your iTunes Media\Music folder on your hard drive.
