Hi, I have the UE Boom — the middle size speaker.

Pairing the speaker & device is very simple. Switching devices is also very
simple. I haven’t tried this for a while, but the one issue I was having… If
you are trying to use 2 devices at once, I couldn’t hear voiceover on my
device. My favorite way to use the speaker is with my braille display. That
way voiceover doesn’t get in the way of the music. :)

The app is somewhat accessible. The buttons for double up, alarm, naming your
Boom, are labeled. The new feature for powering on your speaker from across
the room, is not labeled, & I have contacted them a couple of times about this.

I have worked around this by turning voiceover off, & generally tapping in the
top center of the screen. 9 times out of 10, I tap the correct area & my
speaker turns on.

Honestly, I rarely use the app. I don’t have much reason to until I have a
second speaker or need to update my current one.

On the side of the speaker though, I love it! Sounds great, still portable, &
feels quite rugged.

Good luck,
Traci
