Jen,
I don't know if this has changed but in the past, you couldn't get music transferred from an iDevice to a new computer without purchasing specific software for that purpose. Seems like it had something to do with the media on the device being controlled by iTunes on the computer but I could have that wrong. Also, I'm not sure if it's still the case but your experience doesn't seem to bode well. Hopefully, others with more experience in this area will chime in. Good luck. It made the noise to say it had been synced so disconnected it. When I tried to play a song however I was given a message that it was an invalid location and the file could not be found yet all my files are on the iPod. How do I straighten this out so I can play all the music on my iPod on my laptop through itunes? Jen -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
