Hello Shai,

I did hear on the last Today in iOS Podcast that apparently a few people
reported iMessage issues after the latest iOS update. Rob didn't say what they
were, but you might want to try and to a Reset Network Settings which is in
Settings, General, Reset. This will reboot your phone, but remember that you
will have to sign in to your WiFi again afterwards and if you have changed the
default name of your iPhone in Settings, General, About then you have to change
it again as this type of Reset will change it back to the default name. Reset
Network Settings does, however, often fix various issues and it is one of the
steps Rob from the Today in iOS Podcast recommends before doing an update since
it can also help in avoiding potential upgrade issues.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Question regarding the sending of an iMessage with iPhone5s IOS8.4.1

Hello,
When replying to an iMessage on my iPhone5s running IOS 8.4.1, people
are informing me that my messages are arriving to them from my iCloud
address instead of my phone number. They do however arrive from my
number on initial contact. I have went into the settings and confirmed
that start new conversation is set to my number. Would anyone know why
this could be? I am not sure whether this makes a difference, but I do
have cellular data turned off in settings while I am connected to
wifi.
I have attempted to Google this issue; however, I am not finding a
fix that would resolve my problem.
Thanks in advance for any responses
