Chris, thanks for the warning about the possibility of improper button tracking. In the Bank of America case, I definitely flicked left and right to find the "Sign In" button. It may be that the user isn't activating some buttons regardbless of whether precise touch or f flicking is being used. One thing is sure: it' a VoiceOver issue.
