Hi wayne, This has also happened to me. What works fo'r me is: follow the usual steps to add a song to a playlist. When you come to choosing the name of the playlist you want to add the song too, instead of double tapping on the playlist name, do a double tap and hold on the second tap, so you are effectively doing a pass key through.
