Googling that number took me to this web page http://www.whocalledme.com/PhoneNumber/844-749-5728 where they describe very similar to yours. Their solution, which they got from Apple support, was the following:

I called apple directly (1 800 my apple) and they told me to update the ipad and iphone to the newest updates and also clear the website history on both phones. That would be under settings-general- safari- clear webdata. It worked

I need some serious help with safari, and I am at a real loss as to what to do.

The other night I was trying to go to Craigs list. I think i miss-typed. But no
actual website came up. Instead, I got an error message. Now every time I
attempt to open safiri, I get this error message. I can no longer use this app
at all.

I get a message saying something about a firewall website, and how a 3rd party
application is stopping the program from running. Then it gives me an 844
number to call, to fix the problem.

I did call the number just to see what would happen. A man with an accent
answered, and said support. I asked him, what kind of support, and he said
Apple. I did not really believe it. He told me that there was a problem with my
phone, and for 60 dollars it could be fixed. I told him no thank you, and hung
up.
This is the number I called.
844-749-5728

Has anyone ever had an issue like this? If so, how do i go about fixing it? Do
I possibly have a virus on my phone?
Also, is that number really Apple support?

Any help or suggestions anyone can give me would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Terri
