Hi, Were you made aware when purchasing SmartBeetle that for now you have to change the name of the serial bluetooth to BrailleSense on SmartBeetle itself to pair it? It’s because Apple has not yet implemented SmartBeetle driver so it has to pretend to be BrailleSense. The instructions on how to do this are enclosed on a Braille card with the Braille display itself. If you can’t find them, give me a shout and I will try and find the instructions for you. They can also be found on HIMS website.
