Hi Fazil,

The servers are probably still very overloaded, on top of that you probably
don’t have a very fast and reliable internet connection over there. The process
and message you describe on the computer simply means that at some point during
the download it is loosing the connection, it is a 1.8 Gb or so download after
all. When I first started the download on my PC iTunes told me it would take 5
hours and the download proceeded very slowly. I then cancelled it and tried
again and at that point it started fast and stayed fast and the download
finished in about 7 minutes, the upgrade of my wife’s iPhone 6 via iTunes then
took another 10 or 11 minutes so in less than 20 minutes my wife’s phone was
upgraded and working again. Are you coming back to Canada soon? If so I would
wait, if not maybe try it during several times of the day to see if you can
catch a window when it will work faster.

If you can upgrade via iTunes I recommend it because if you upgrade over the
air you can check the download progress, then you tap your Agree buttons a
couple of times and shortly after that the phone will say it’s rebooting to
finish the update and at that point you will have absolutely no feedback for at
least 10 to 12 minutes and potentially quite a bit longer. It’s essentials that
you just leave the phone alone, I would keep it nearby so you can hear
Voiceover when it comes back on, but I wouldn’t try to touch it, press the home
or power buttons or anything like that.

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Is IOS9 Available In My region To donload?

Hi, list.

I’m just wondering whether IOS9 is available to download in my region. I am in
Karachi, Pakistan.

When I connect to Itune, it offers me to upgrade and when I accept the offer,
Itune, after some initial screens, starts upgrading process. It does not give
any progress-report except saying the following:

“Itune is downloading a software update for this Iphone and it will install it
when the download is complete.” This prompt does not change for several hours
and then it comes up with the following error message:

"iTunes

There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone “iPhone”. The
network connection was reset.

Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is
active, or try again later.

OK."

In my phone, when I go to Setting, General and Software update, it acknowledges
the availability of the upgrade and telles me that the upgrade would make my
phone even smarter but does not offer an upgrade. It says

“IoS9 Apple Inc. dim.”

Should I assume that it is not available here just yet?

Thank you very much!

I have IPhone 6Plus with IOs8.4.
