Hi Mike and Kevin, First of all, Cara has been very clear about not to discuss any beta versions or features. Now that it is possible to sign up for public betas there are of course people on this list who are using these betas and some may not agree that one should not discuss them. So, you may find messages on the list or get replies, but if somebody continues with this or goes into too much detail, Cara may also decide to remove somebody's posting privileges.
Regarding the count of messages in a thread, this has been reported and discussed. My suggestion is to report it to [email protected] since the more people report certain bugs the bigger the likelihood they get fixed. I am not running iOS 9.1 beta at this point, but since the information has been on the list regarding this particular issue, I don't think it is too bad to mention that if you check the archives, you can probably find the message where somebody reported that in iOS 9.1 beta this has apparently been fixed. Like I said, I am just mentioning this person's post and can't verify this myself. Folks: has anyone noticed with voiceover that since the installation of iOS 9, that it now reads when you go to your email app, it tells you whether or not you have any read or unread messages. That's neat because I couldn't know that before I go in there. Also, does anyone know how 9.1 of the iOS system is working thus far. Thanks much! Michael G. McKay BA,' 05.
