I can't think what you'd want to do that for. I think you'd have to select by word, delete that word, or whatever you wanted to do, then continue.

You then use the rotor again and go to the left until you reach edit selection. you will hear instructions this point. You then just start editing. to do this you then swipe left or right right selects whatever you have decided upon and left deselects. after that, I cannot describe it properly but you can press delete key on what you have selected that should get you started and do experiment because you can't do anything dangerous, as long as you don't mind if you do the wrong thing!
