Hi. I'm really jazzed about the text selection feature in IOS 9, this feature is HUGE! I've used it to extract content from web pages in Safari and paste it into notes, and also to paste into e-mails. See my most recent post about missing facetime.
As for using that editing feature to clear up Siri mispronunciations, I doubt that that's possible. What IOS needs is a good pronunciation dictionary for VoiceOver and Siri.
