Thanks, sieghard. Since I am about to get my upgraded 6S, I probably won't mess with the network settings here. Interestingly, I also upgraded my iPad mini. And it is not experiencing the battery drain. Also, it did stick around at 25% for a very long time this morning. So it could be that the gauge is just out of calibration. Mary
