Hi Carl, Actually, I have only messed around a bit with it and haven't had time to figure out the calibration part yet. As soon as I do that I'll post my results.

Personally with my small trial I found it very accurate indeed. I started it and then moved it only about an inch and a half and it told me it had moved 1.43 inches. I haven't tried it with actual measurements yet but so far I think it is going to be very good.
