I'm sorry Carrie. I'm not having this problem. Just tried to duplicate. Have
you rebooted your phone lately? Turned voiceover off and then on? Maybe
taking words out of the rotor and then putting them back in?

No, this is not a problem for me with my 5S, it worked with iOS 9.0 and
now also with iOS 9.0.1.
When did you update? Have you rebooted your phone since you updated? Even
if you have, I'd still close apps from the app switcher, turn the phone
off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. See if this fixes the problem.

Hi Everyone:
Ever since updating to IOS 9, I am having a problem regarding the
rotor and I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or if this is a
bug.
It used to be if I set the rotor to say words I could go into any app
and read by words.
Now when I set the rotor to words and then go into a text message and
try to edit it the rotor keeps going back to characters. Even if I try
to put it back on words it keeps going back to characters and it's
really annoying because I like to edit my messages going through word
by word instead of character by character.
Is anyone else having this problem/experiencing this?
Is there a setting or something new in IOS 9 I need to change or
switch to keep the rotor from going to character mode when I set it to
words?
