I find that using my iPad Air in a keyboard case is as easy to use as a laptop. 
 Yes I can use dictation to reply to email on my iPhone 5s, but rarely do get 
to send a message that I don't have to edit because a wrong word was incirted.  
Using the keyboard case has it's own problem.  Mispelled words cause the 
balloon sound to occure but nowhere on the screen can I find replacement words 
and audo correction doesn't work either.  I'm sorry I updated to iOS 9.
