Ok, that too; but the RNIB had a role in there at some point, or all those
donations went to waste on bean counters there to just
raise more funds.

oh, lol, and here I thought it was the job of the blind person to look out for
his or her own wellfare, but I’ve been wrong
before...
Either way, this is just another one of those silly little IPhone apps that
seem to be prevalent and have a limited use and limited
shelf life.

as far as i am concerned, it is the job of the RNIB, to look out for the
welfare of the visually impaired.

it is right in there with about 100,000 other useless apps lol...for every
useful app there are 50 that are pointless and used for
marketting and advertizing purposes only...in this case, it’s pure marketting
for listerine.
The RNIB needs marketting too, so they will grab on to stuff like this as a way
to get the name out there and brand recognition.
As for safety, well, that’s kind of irrelivant isn’t it.

Can anyone tell me the point of this useless app?

Why would someone wish to know, if a total stranger, or anyone else for that
matter, was smiling at them?

Also, if a person was that sad! how would they know, that they were the person,
that was being smiled at, and not someone over their
shoulder?

Also, in my view, there are potential dangers with this app.

For instance, the visually impaired person, who is waving their phone around,
is in danger of being distracted, and therefore more
likely to have an accident! eg, in the extreme being hit by a car!

or At least more likely to have their phone snatched!

I am surprised, that the RNIB, are endorsing this app.

I would be Interested to know what people think?

Dave.
