Hi

I am one of the beta testers of 9.1. All I can say at this point is it's working pretty good on my iPad Mini 2. I can't say what's been fixed or not, neither can I say what's new if anything.

I'm not on the beta myself, but I've heard the contrary, namely that
there are some fixes to some of the issues reported, so I'll either give
the beta a try myself or wait and see for myself when it comes out.

And in Ios 9.1 which will come up soon, there are no voiceover related
solutions built-in for any reported bugs.

Hello,
I also have the email bug. If you have VO on the triple click of the
home
button, turn VO off, then back on.

Subject: Re: Upgrading to IOS 9?

IOS 9 has been my worst experience with any version of IOS. I've been
using IOS since IOS 5 on my iPhone 4S. IOS 8 was problematic, but I
considered it's bugs to be mostly inconveniences. With IOS 9, VoiceOver
hangs if I answer a call while using my ear buds. I have to do a hard
reset of my iPhone to recover. The only work around I have so far is to
unplug my ear buds before answering a call. For the first time ever,
I've had to give my wife two other numbers where she can reach me in
case I'm having trouble with my iPhone.

I also have the problem where VoiceOver will hang for close to a minute
every time I reply to an email message.

I know not everyone is seeing these bugs, but sending email from my
iPhone and being able to receive calls are two things I expect from my
smart phone, so these two bugs are particularly frustrating for me. In
hind sight, this is one upgrade I wish I'd waited on.

Hello,

I took to heart the warning about waiting to upgrade until some of the
bugs are worked out. Is it "safe" to upgrade now or is it still at
the
point of frustration? Do we know when IOS 9.1 will be out?

Thanks,

Kim
