on blind oriented Email lists, it is customary to put replies at the top
because reading is much more efficient when using a screen reader.

No, I never read those either. Indeed, if someone says they want to ask
a bunch of questions, and they're still on the intro blurb
several paragraphs later; I give those up and never get to find the
questions, too.
I'm not making the rules of engagement here, but attention span isn't
endless, and folks Needing answers, should keep that in mind
when seeking them.
