Sendero Lookaround will also do this. Not automatically, granted, but it will. 
You have to press a bottun when you're nearing the intersection (I usually do 
it when I'm standing on the corner). I think you can also set it up so that 
it'll tell you when you shake your phone. It tells you the nearest 
intersection, not the intersection you're approaching, which is why I press the 
button when I'm at the corner, getting ready to cross one of the streets or 
turn down one of them.
