Hi Alex, Perhaps they’re starting the process of letting people sign up for 2-factor authentication, which is different from the current 2-step authentication they have in place now. 2-factor authentication does away with recovery keys, and changes the codes you need to enter when signing into a new device from 4 to 6 digits.
