I just tried this on my old 5S and my 6S, both are now on iOS 9.1. I sent an
email to myself, I dictated it and tried it both with screen curtain off which
is usually what I have but I also tried it with screen curtain on. In all four
scenarios as soon as I double tap on the Send button I hear the swoosh noise
and I am back in my Inbox immediately with Voiceover talking and I really mean
immediately, there isn't even a second or two delay.
As I said, I would definitely close all apps, then go to Settings > General >
Reset and double tap Reset Network Settings. This will prompt you to confirm and then
after a couple of seconds your device will reboot. Once you are back on the home screen
you have to go to Settings > WiFi and reconnect to your WiFi network (you will need
your password). Then give it a try and see if it makes a difference.

For whatever it's worth, I don't have this problem on my 5S nor on my 6S. If I
send an email I hear the sound it makes that the email is sent and I can
immediately continue to do other things or go into another email that I want to
reply to.
Also, the focus bug has been fixed, if you are now in say message 15 of your
Inbox and you go into the message and back out focus will remail on that
message rather than jumping back up to the top.

LOL, similar feelings. How many are in a thread, since I have it disabled in
the first place.... But restarting VO, or wait minutes and minutes between
sending messages, Hmm. Fortunately for some, they have note takers so I'm back
to that, when there are a lot, even though VO could read much quicker than this
thing, but sending is currently quicker on here.

Having crap inserted into your messages, having your machine freeze up every
time this bug appears, and finding it distracting are none of them trivial. If
it doesn't bother you, that is wonderful. As for me, I really don't give a damn
about whether the number of messages in the thread is announced. I understand
others do, and that's great. For those people, I'm glad this bug was fixed. But
please don't call other bugs trivial, just because they don't mean much to you.

shake my phone to perform the undo action. So to the person that asked if we
beta testers report bugs, the answer is yes we do. But I won't report something
unless it's serious enough for me to be concerned about. If you really do
believe that Apple should fix this so-called bug, then join the beta program.
Sorry if this may sound pissy, but personally, I don't see the big deal. I
kinda find it helpful.
