Sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, for any building or open space to be accessible a lot of equipment must be installed, maintained, and updated.
The UCLA School of Medicine demonstrated a system for interior guidance more than 20 years ago. It was much less expensive than this one but there was no follow up spread of the technology. There have been other solutions proposed that we are still waiting to produce results. These programs are usually created by a university professor graduate student, or other employee, who have cheap student labor and short term governmental or corporation funding that lasts just long enough to produce a model and allow the publication of a paper or two.
